From Barcelona to London

Hey Guys!

Again again again... 3 tours in a row without reaching the antes Hmmmmmm (I don't count the 3rd place finish i took with Pernille in the team event) should i reconsider my strategy or is this just variance? Nahh I'm not off my game it is just variance.

Barcelona Event:

Not many hands to write about. Basically this is the story: Value bet got paid, bluff didn't work, missed a draw, won the blinds, 3 bet with kings, 3 bet with air etc. until this hand came... I had been sitting still for a while and lost a bit of my stack blinds where 100-200, 3rd pos. limps and i look down on 2 black Aces. I'm in SB and make it 700 with a stack of 7300, BB folds and the limper calls.

Flop: 4d 9h Jc

I lead out 1200 and he called. At this point i put him on 9Ts,TJs,TQs,JQs and JKs better hands he would most likely raise(44 or J9s) 99 and JJ and AJ are unlikely holdings since he would probably had raised pre instead of limping.

Turn: Qh

Ovb a bad card, but I cant get away if I lead out. If i check and he bets, he has to have JQs 80% or better for me to so I can't get away. I check to him to represent AK he bets and I move in for the remaining stack. He did have JQs and I got no help on the river and I was out.

In London

I'm in London getting ready for the WSOPE and the London EPT before i will return to HK. Today I'm playing the 1500 pound NLH event. I will try my best to make it past the antes this time ;)
