Chris Koo makes incredible laydown to stay alive

Local Hong Kong hopeful from the Rounders HK group made an amazing laydown to stay alive in the tournament. With a board of 8d 7s 6d Jd Chris value bet 3500 with his Qd 2d for Queen high flush. His opponent raised him up to 10K and for what would have been an automatic call for many, caused Chris to go into the tank for several minutes. Finally, Chris mucked his hand face up to the amazement of the table. His opponent could only watch in disbelief as he turned over Ad 9d for the nut flush.

In Sydney, PokerStars pro Terrance Chan won the $1600 AUD 6-max NLHE event.  Running hot en route to the title, Chan knocked out local favorites as well as fellow PokerStars team member Chris Moneymaker.  The win, worth $69K, marks his 1st tournament win as a pro.

After crippling Raymond Rahme with a set of Js over Rahme's pocket Aces, and taking another huge pot with a full house, Grant Levy sits at the top of the leader board along with Terrance Chan and Tony Dunst.  The players are currently on dinner break.

After holding a chip lead early in the day Raymond Rahme has been
eliminated from the main event.  After losing a huge pot to Grant Levy, the 2007 WSOP finalist was left with just 500 chips and was unable to recover.

A short-stacked Eric Assadourian moved all in for a total of 3,200 over
the top of an opponent's 800 pre-flop raise. His bet was called by both
the big blind in seat ten and the player who made the original raise in
seat four.

The flop came: 8h  6c 2c

The turn: 7s

and the big blind fired again, this time for 2,000; seat four called.

level four.

At the dinner break, Eric Assadourian holds a commanding lead at the final table.

The former chip leader, Emad Tahtouh was sent to the rail when raised from the small blind to 22,000. Bo Sehlstedt then moved all in over the top of Tahtouh's raise from the
big blind, putting Emad to a decision for all of his chips. Emad makes
the call and turns over the Kh Jh; Sehlstedt reveals the Ah Ks.

Bo hit a an Ace on the flop and the turn and river brought no help, eliminating former tournament chip leader Emad Tahtouh in 5th place.
