Live at the Bike

Not sure if some of you have watched much 'Live at the Bike' before but if you haven't, you should at least have a look. The commentating is so much better than televised shows like Poker after Dark and High Stakes Poker. There's no comparison actually. Plus, Live at the Bike televises games with stakes that are more commonly played, like US$10-20 NL and $25-50 NL. Still huge games I know, but so much more fun to watch local LA pros go at it with 10-20K stacks than it is to see Daniel Negreanu and Gus play for 200K. When you watch it, you'll know what I mean. And yeah these are strictly cash games too. I'll post clips from time to time in the Videos section of the site. Below is a clip of a crazy hand where a couple players (who are both about 20K deep) get their money in after each of them flop sets.
Anyway, some background... Live at the Bike is basically (or was) the televised NL Hold'em table at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles. They've been doing daily shows there for a few years but I'm not sure if they still are today. Doesn't matter though because there are so many archived episodes (most of them worth watching) floating around YouTube and other sites and they're easy to find. The cool thing about their show, surprisingly, is how unpolished their production is. Tell me what you think.

Yes, couldn't agree more.
Nice to see some real action instead of those camera hogs on HSP.
